ONWARD Compé

The ONWARD Compé ’12 deadline has been extended from November 28th to December 5th! Submissions must now be received via the online submission form by December 5th, 2011 at 11:59pm EST.

We’re very impressed with the entries that have been coming in throughout the open call. Just take a look for yourself by checking out links from our Twitter page. Each time someone submits, one of their photos gets directly published to the ONWARD blog.

As a reminder, here’s what ONWARD Compé ’12 selected photographers can expect:

Photographs selected by juror Todd Hido will be exhibited by Project Basho’s gallery in Philadelphia in from February 9 – March 25, 2012.

All chosen work is also displayed in a web gallery and a selection of artists will be featured through some of our media sponsors such as fototazo, Ahorn Magazine, and others.

Selected photographers are also eligible for a host of awards and prizes:

2 Juror’s Awards – Grand Prize
A two-person show at Project Basho Gallery
$500 cash prize
Either a GR Digital IV or the GXR+S10 Kit digital camera from Ricoh
Invitation to present your work at the ONWARD Summit ’12 on February 11th, 2012 in Philadelphia

Camera/laptop bag from Crumpler
Portfolio printed by Sous Les Etoiles

West Collection Purchase Award
One piece from the ONWARD ’12 Exhibition will be purchased by the West Collection to enter their holdings.

This is shaping up to be a really exciting year for ONWARD! We’re psyched to see Todd Hido’s final selections for the show.
